Welcome back to another school year. We are going to see many changes this year with PLC and full PBIS implementation. If you run into problems or have ideas to share, please do not hesitate to reach out and share.

 

Goals

The stronger we are as individuals the stronger we are as a group.

• Get everyone on the Standard disability insurance that is interested.

• Reaching out to as many members as possible for curriculum committees and trainings

• Empower as many of our members as possible with information and experiences 

 

Current Steps

We got the Standard to do an Open Enrollment. It has been years since they have been willing to do this, and many of you have been waiting for it. Make sure you apply ASAP. We continue to build a bridge between GTA and the District Office to make sure that all teachers have access to the newest and most effective teaching strategies in order to support student learning.

 

Future

We have begun negotiations with the district. Also, we will be having some optional curriculum trainings put on by GTA teachers to assist you (more information to follow).
